These terms are the agreement between you and foodilike ("foodilike," "we," "us") for using our app and website. By using foodilike, you agree to them. We've kept them plain — please read them.
You must be at least 13 years old to use foodilike. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you may only use it with a parent or guardian's involvement. By using it, you confirm you meet these requirements.
foodilike learns your taste preferences and suggests dishes and places you're likely to enjoy. It is a preference-matching tool for convenience and enjoyment. It is not medical, dietary, nutritional, or allergy advice, and it does not identify allergens or make food safe for any condition. Always check directly with the restaurant about allergies and ingredients. If food is causing you real distress, please talk to a doctor or therapist.
You can use foodilike anonymously, or create an account (via email) to save your data across devices. You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Keep your information accurate.
Some features let you share content — for example, posting a "win" about a dish you loved, or joining a shared table with others. You keep ownership of what you post, and you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host and display it within foodilike so the feature can work.
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You agree not to post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, deceptive, or that infringes others' rights or privacy. We may review, remove, or refuse any content, and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms — at our discretion and, where practical, without notice.
You can report content and block other users from within the app. We aim to act on valid reports promptly. To report content or a user outside the app, email support@foodilike.ai.
When you scan a menu, we send the image to our AI provider to read it and store the resulting menu data (not the image) in a shared cache, so one person's scan can help the next person at the same restaurant. Menu reading is automated and can be imperfect — verify details (like price and ingredients) with the restaurant.
foodilike may offer paid plans. If you purchase through the App Store or Google Play, that store is the seller of record and handles billing, renewals, and applicable taxes under its own terms. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your store account. Free-tier limits (such as the number of menu scans) may apply and can change.
You can permanently delete your account and its data anytime from the app (Profile → Account → Delete account). Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
foodilike is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that suggestions will suit your taste, that a restaurant will have a dish, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, foodilike and its team won't be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
We may update the service or these terms. If we make significant changes to these terms, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. You can stop using foodilike anytime; we may suspend or end access if these terms are violated.
